1. What is the TOEFL Masterclass?
The TOEFL Masterclass is an advanced, intensive preparation course designed for individuals aiming
to achieve high scores on the TOEFL exam. It offers comprehensive training in the Reading, Writing,
Listening, and Speaking modules, providing in-depth strategies, insights, and practice to help
students excel.
2. How is the TOEFL Masterclass different from other TOEFL preparation courses?
The TOEFL Masterclass goes beyond basic preparation. It provides personalised feedback, detailed instruction
on advanced techniques, and extensive practice tests to simulate real test conditions. It is especially suited
for those targeting higher scores (e.g. 100 and above) and is delivered in a structured, expert-led format.
Students have access to comprehensive study materials, including:
• In-depth lesson plans for all four modules.
• In-class practice examples
• Practice tests / mock exams coupled with model answers for reading and writing tests
• Personalised needs analysis from instructors.
• Additional resources: Homework for each lesson plan; individual grammar homework based on needs analysis.
3. Is the TOEFL Masterclass offered online?
Yes, the TOEFL Masterclass is exclusively offered online. Lessons are delivered live via a virtual classroom,
and all materials are accessed through a personalised online portal. This format provides flexibility and convenience
for students anywhere in the world.
4. Who should take this course?
The TOEFL Masterclass is ideal for:
• Students who have beginner to intermediate level of English, and have addressed grammar weaknesses prior to the commencement of the Masterclass.
• Students who have an intermediate to advanced level of English.
• Individuals who have taken the TOEFL exam before but want to improve their scores.
• Those aiming for a high score for university admission, professional qualification, or migration purposes.
5. What is the duration of the course?
The course consists of 35 lessons, which are typically completed over a five-day intensive schedule. Each lesson plan is designed to last at least
55 minutes, depending on the student’s grasp of the material.
6. What are the course objectives?
The TOEFL Masterclass aims to familiarise students with the TOEFL test structure, build key language skills, provide practice with real-world
question types, and help students develop effective strategies for achieving their desired scores.
7. How are lessons structured?
Lessons are organised into modules encompassing: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Each module focuses on key question types and skills,
such as essay writing, academic discussion writing, multiple-choice questions, task performance, and fluency. Lessons are interactive, with live
instruction, practice tasks, and detailed feedback.
8. What study materials are provided?
Students will have digital access to comprehensive study materials, including:
• In-depth lesson plans for each module accessible online - linked to your individual profile.
• Homework for each lesson plan accessible online - linked to your individual profile
• EWAP Workbooks containing:
     - Practice tests / mock exams coupled with model answers for reading, speaking and writing tests
• Personalised needs analysis from instructors.
• Additional resources: individual grammar homework based on needs analysis.
9. What do I need to participate in the programme?
While all materials are provided, you will need the following to ensure full participation in the programme:
• Reliable Internet Access: xEnsure a stable connection with good signal strength for smooth video calls and uninterrupted learning.
• Laptop or Computer: This should be equipped with a functional microphone and either a built-in webcam or external camera for active participation in group activities.
• Headphones/Earphones: Recommended for better audio quality during calls and to minimise background noise.
• Quiet Environment: Try to join the sessions from a quiet space to focus without distractions.
• Note-taking Tools: You may use either:
   - An A4 whiteboard and whiteboard marker, or
   - A notepad (paper) with a pen or pencil for writing notes during the sessions.
• Presentation/Handout Access: All lesson slides and resources will be shared digitally, so you should have a PDF viewer (e.g., Adobe Reader) installed.
• Time Management: As the programme follows a strict schedule, please be punctual and prepared to actively engage for the full session.
10. Will I receive feedback on my homework performance?
Yes, personalised feedback is a key component of the TOEFL Masterclass. You will receive commentary on all four modules' homework exercises. Feedback is designed to not only
help identify areas for improvement but also adjust your approach accordingly. Answers to all practice tests and written tasks are included in the In-class workbooks.
11. How are the mock tests structured?
Mock tests are designed to simulate real TOEFL exam conditions. You will have timed practice tests for each module, allowing you to familiarise yourself with the pressure
and pacing of the actual exam. These tests are an integral part of the course and help to gauge your readiness.
12. Can I retake any part of the course if I feel unprepared?
No, you will have to re-register for the course. These courses are designed to be interactive and retaking a specific module may affect the overall effectiveness of your comprehension as a whole.

To retake specific modules or mock tests for students who feel they need additional practice before sitting the exam. You can discuss your needs with your instructor to determine the best course of
action.
13. What happens if I miss a class?
Since this is an intensive course, attendance is important in order to receive your attendance certificate. However, all live
sessions are recorded and made available via the Skype Masterclass video portal, however, these will be de-activated within
24 hours of course completion. You can review any missed lessons at your convenience. You will also receive homework for all
lessons including the missed lessons. It is important to note that all access permissions will be removed within 24 hours of
course completion.
14. Will the sessions be recorded?
Yes, all sessions will be recorded for your convenience. The recordings will be made available after each session to allow
you to review the material, catch up if you miss any part of the live classes, and reinforce your learning.
However, to fully benefit from the interactive nature of the course, it is highly recommended that you attend the live
sessions where you can participate in discussions and exercises in real-time. Please note that recordings are for personal
use only and must not be shared or distributed publicly.
15. Will I receive a certificate after completing the Masterclass?
The TOEFL Masterclass is a preparation course and does not provide an official certification. You will,
however, receive a certificate of Attendance (the candidate must attend all sessions to qualify). Upon completing the course
you will be thoroughly prepared to take the TOEFL exam and achieve a high score.
16. How can I enrol in the TOEFL Masterclass?
Pre-registration is a requisite. You can enrol through the EWAP website by selecting your preferred start date. Group sessions
are available at specific times, and we recommend enrolling early to secure your spot as spaces are limited.
17. Are there any TOEFL Masterclass pre-requisites?
Pre-registration is a requisite.
Once payment is received in full, you will need to complete a proficiency test, prior to the commencement of the course.
Upon receipt of payment, you will receive your login credentials via email.
A Needs Analysis will be conducted. If you do not have the desired level for entry to the course, we will provide additional
grammar material for you to improve your English, so that you may be admitted to the programme.
Ideally, candidates will need a minimum B1/-Intermediate English language proficiency level.
18. What are the costs associated with the TOEFL Masterclass Programme?
What does the course cost? The cost of the course is per participant – prices quoted on www.e-wap.com is non-negotiable and binding.
Please take note: We present courses only when a minimum of three paid candidates have been confirmed, hence course dates may change, or a course
may be cancelled. In the unlikely event that the EWAY Connect cancels a scheduled TOEFL Masterclass, you will be refunded in full.
19. Cancellation Policy?
Due to the costs incurred from the moment of registration, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made by participants after registration.
Please note:
Minimum Enrollment Requirement: Courses will only proceed if at least three paid participants have been confirmed.
If this minimum is not met, the course start date may be rescheduled, or the course may be cancelled – Consideration is given to students’
confirmed test booking dates.
E-WAP Cancellation: In the unlikely event that EWAP cancels a scheduled TOEFL Masterclass, you will receive a full refund of your course fees.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and while refunds are not possible, we encourage you to reach out to us to discuss possible alternatives
such as rescheduling or applying your fees to a future course.
